How IEEE Madras Section sponsors Student Branch conferences, workshops, symposiums, and seminars from eligibility to disbursement.

Guidelines for IEEE Madras Section funding to Student Branches (SBs) for events such as National Conferences, Workshops, Symposiums, Seminars, and similar activities.
The duration of the event to be funded should be a minimum of one day (6–8 hours).
Funding will be considered for SBs that have submitted their activity reports for earlier years. New SBs are exempted from this condition for their first application.
Funding is provided for a minimum of one event per year. SBs with membership over 100 can apply for a second event after a gap of six months from the first.
Complete the application in the prescribed format and submit it to the Section Office by post, and by email to ieeemas@gmail.com through the proper channel at least one month (minimum) to three months (maximum) ahead of the event.

The application is reviewed by the Finance & Student Activities Committees of the Section.
Once approved in-principle by the Exe-Com, the SB receives an intimation from the Section office, Chennai.
SB Counsellors must include the IEEE MAS logo on all related communications Brochure, Invitation, Certificate, Proceedings with the phrase “Supported by IEEE Madras Section.”

The sponsorship amount is transferred to the respective SB account within a month of the Section Office receiving the following:
